SPRAY ROSE FAIRY TALE KISS

‘Fairy Tale Kiss’ (or variations of that name: ‘Princess Fairy Kiss’) has gained popularity in the last few years for its long vase life, beautiful pastel colouring, and shape that balances between garden-rose frilliness and spray-rose abundance. Growers promote its curves, its many petaled blooms, and its appeal in blush-toned/graceful floral designs.

Moist, fertile, well-draining soil. Full sun (or strong bright light) is preferable to ensure good bloom opening and colour. Keep soil evenly moist but avoid waterlogging. Because of its spray form, stems may branch; regular pruning or cutting back after flower clusters helps encourage new sprays. Post-harvest, cut stems should be conditioned (clean cuts, fresh water, cool storage) to prolong vase life.

‘Fairy Tale Kiss’ is especially suited for wedding bouquets, romantic arrangements and centerpieces where softness and delicacy are desired. Because each stem offers multiple blooms, it is efficient for volume in arrangements.
