SYRINGA PINK

The lilac (Syringa vulgaris) has been cherished for centuries in European gardens for its fragrance and spring beauty. Lilacs grow best in fertile, well-drained soil with neutral to slightly alkaline pH. Regular pruning after flowering encourages healthy growth and future bloom sets. Adequate sunlight (at least 6 hours daily) is essential for abundant flowering. Deep watering during dry spells helps maintain vigor, but overwatering should be avoided. Lilacs also benefit from good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew.
