The classic taper candle was the very first to be introduced into production, and even after 35 years, it remains the brand’s best-selling candle by far. Its fine, pointed top has always set it apart—a distinctive feature that lends it the elegant, slender look characteristic of an Ester & Erik candle.
Each candle is crafted from 100% pure, fragrance-free paraffin wax sourced from Europe’s leading producer. It is manufactured at the company’s factory in Denmark, and the wick is made entirely of cotton.
The conical shape of the candle’s foot allows it to fit most candle holders with ease.
The candle is self-extinguishing, meaning the flame naturally dies out 2–3 centimeters from the bottom. (Nevertheless, it is strongly advised to never leave lit candles unattended.)
To ensure optimal burning performance, it is recommended to keep the wick short, space candles at least 10 cm apart, and avoid placing them in direct sunlight, draughts, or above radiators.
